On one hand, it feels like a home away from home, with friendly staff making every effort to ensure comfort—I really appreciated that personal touch. The cleanliness of the rooms was commendable, and the common areas, particularly the bar and lounge, had a lovely atmosphere. There were some drawbacks. The heating struggled on particularly chilly nights, and I was disappointed that no free toiletries were provided. While breakfast offered a decent selection, the dinner menu felt limited, especially when I expected more variety. Soundproofing evidently isn’t a strong point, as noise from both traffic and the lively bar area seeped into my room. Considering the price, I found it challenging to reconcile the luxury of a hotel experience with the more basic amenities provided. If you're looking for a simple, cozy stay near Guetersloh, this could work, but be sure you set your expectations accordingly.
